A Note From The Author: I am a junior at the high school. I have been writing since 7th grade, once as a stress outlet, but now as my passion. Both of these poems were signs of me growing as a individual person, and as I observed more in life, hopefully these poems could be for others too. A poem consisting of a plea to change your mind about the way you view, think, and talk about your body. A unique metaphor of dissection and feeling like your thoughts are being laid out into the open. A concise, to the point poem beautifully crafted to show the fragile state humans live within. An outstanding, jagged poem that stays with the reader long after they have stopped reading.
Taylor Cline has written two different poems that have blown us away!
Beware: Describes the conflict and turmoil within those who have lost those they loved... and hated Pouring: A short poem about the struggle of the heart to open up to others Click the buttons below to read each poem! Abby Long wrote a beautiful, haunting poem about the association between color and emotion. Click the button below to check out the poem!
