What is the Creative Pride Contest?
Once every month, the Prairie Review will hold a Creative Pride Contest for students at Prairie to send in submissions based upon a decided topic to be adjudicated by our team of teachers and peers.
The top submission from each contest (Photography, Creative Writing, and Poetry) will be published on the Prairie High Review and will be awarded a $5.00 gift certificate to any place of their choosing.
Each month, a topic will be decided for the Creative Pride Contest for students to incorporate into their work. Topics of the Creative Writing Pride Contest will revolve around a theme such as: Seasons (Winter, Summer, Fall, Spring), Vacation, Reality, Feminism, Greatest Impact on Your Life, and many others that can influence the writer's submission. The Creative Pride Contest will begin on the 1st of each month and will close on the 29th. Winners will be announced on the final day of the month.
Winning Submissions will be published in the corresponding Creative Pride Contest Gallery.
